McZhang Studios delivered Level 3 software for SULB, a steel producer, for its integrated steel plant in Bahrain and rolling mill in Saudi Arabia. The systems reduce manual work and make production data and recurring failure patterns easier for workers and managers to see.

Weiran and Bethan started McZhang Studios together after Weiran spent years building software and leading engineering teams. Weiran leads technical delivery; Bethan leads business development and client relationships.

Weiran has built software in financial technology and heavy industry, including Level 3 systems for steel production. His work also covers AI agents, LLM integration and local AI.
Bethan McIlroy
Bethan brings more than 15 years of experience across community projects, consulting, events and fundraising. She works with clients to turn an idea into a project the team can deliver.
